Upon graduation from Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, New Jersey; Robert Keeler Jr. began his financial career working with a specialist firm on the floor of the New York Stock Exchange. At the young age of twenty-four Rob was accepted into membership of the NYSE. He attained multiple securities licenses including the Series 7, 9, 10, 28, and 66. As a trader Rob specialized in the execution of arbitrage orders, specifically of American Depository Receipts (ADR’s), and complex orders from some of the largest brokerages and hedge funds in the world.
Bringing his knowledge of the securities industry, coupled with his personal viewpoint on the most appropriate way to invest Robert evolved the firm to guide and mentor qualified investment advisors. As CEO of The Investment Advisor Alliance LLC, Rob manages portfolios, sub-advises portfolios for other investment advisors, and supervises and manages the operations of the Investment Advisor Alliance. He holds a RFC® designation from the International Association of Registered Financial Consultants and is an AFSP tax preparer.
Rob created The Investment Advisor Alliance to support the needs of independent investment advisors. IAA recognizes and addresses the requirements of advisors managing the day-to-day difficulties and complexities of being an independent advisor and operating a firm in the current regulatory environment.
IAA was formed to help advisors attend to these needs by creating a platform to lower expenses, maintain compliance, and grow their business.
